9000 Miles Away
Miles Away - Crossing America from Hanhny
It seems like we drove on the loneliest roads
Passed by the loneliest towns.
Perhaps they are modern ghost towns...
A few houses here,
Accompanied by weathered sheds there.
Not a soul in sight.
Miles and miles away
The roads are endless and we let it lead us
I’m convinced we are the only ones
Me and him and our traveling machine
It seems like we’ve been to the prettiest places
Passed by the prettiest scenes
Perhaps they are historic playgrounds…
A giant mirror here,
Reflecting the strenuous mountains there.
Natural soundtrack played
Miles and miles away
The roads are endless and we let it lead us
I’m convinced we are the only ones
Me and him and our traveling machine
It is bittersweet to come across something so beautiful
Just to leave it all behind
Slowly disappearing behind our rear view mirror
Miles and miles away
The roads are endless until we dive into the blue
And we’d wake up and do it all again.
